Do you still think about your Ex, do you constantly wonder what your they’re doing?
Do you find yourself in a church worship service thinking about your Ex?
Do you have reoccurring dreams at night of the two of you together again?
Are you in a bad relationship that you know God doesn’t want you to be in?
If you answered yes then you have a bad soul tie to that person.
Soul ties are not always bad, you can have one with your mother, best friend, brother etc. But when a relationship has ended and you are still somehow controlled by that person or if you are in a bad relationship but somehow you can’t seem to end it. Your soul is tied to that person. It didn’t necessarily have to be because you had sexual intimacy, intimacy can be spending a great deal of time with them and shared so much of yourself, your heart, secrets, thoughts, future dreams with them.
This soul tie can hinder you from the one you are supposed to be with and marry. You continuously compare them with new people you date, talk about them or still even communicate with them when you know it’s not the right thing to do. All these things bring confusion and frustration to potential mates that God brings you to.
But enough of the bad news, now the Good news! Jesus came that you might be free, He came to heal broken hearts, set captives free, he who the Son set free is free indeed! There is absolute freedom in Christ, it is not Gods will for you to be tied to something that is dead (the relationship) you don’t have to carry the burden of something that is dead.
