There is a sad story of a guy who in his previous relationships made it known to the women he was with that he wanted to get married and have children.
After telling them this, the women stopped calling or ended the relationship. So he decided to change what he said about marriage so he didn’t run the next woman off.
He spoke negatively about marriage but again he lost another relationship. It was only after some years he was still single and he met the same woman, she was married and had children. She told him that she wanted to get married and because of his views on marriage it turned her off him.
Be true to yourself.
If your talk of marriage and children scares off the person you’re with then so be it.
That will free you up for God to bring someone who is looking for the same as you.
Do not lie to anyone or worse lie to yourself about what you really want. Let your intentions be known about what you want.
“So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.” Luke 18:40-43
