Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 NKJV
This is the most common dating/relationship problem we hear from women:“he just disappeared”, “he stopped calling me” and “he avoided me, until I finally gave up” and so on.
The men who do this to you think that it’s just easier to walk away so they: stop calling, avoid your calls/texts/emails, and go as far as even changing churches! Instead of telling you why they’re ending the relationship (in whatever form of communication) they choose silence. It is upsetting, painful, hurtful, disrespectful and even humiliating when this happens.
It’s usually that he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings, face his own feelings, avoid an argument or just simply doesn’t know how to end it, to name a few reasons. A man that does this doesn’t realise how much worse it is to say nothing at all to you, leaving you no explanation or closure.
So if two of you were walking together in agreement for a relationship and for marriage and he chooses to walk away…LET HIM WALK!
Yes, he may have been your perfect match you say and yes, God brought him you say, but God cannot make him continue the walk with you, that would violate his free will so…LET HIM WALK!
The enemy will work overtime to convince you that:
You won’t find any other man so keep calling him
You won’t get any better than him so keep trying to get him
You’re going to loose weeks/months of ‘investment’ you’ve put into the relationship
You can’t start all over again if you let him go
You’ll be all alone so just go over to his house unannounced and beg him back
But that devil is a liar!
The truth is you are far too valuable, precious and special to run after a man who chooses to walk away without explanation…so LET HIM WALK!
If you truly believe God can bring you your future husband, and you may have believed that God brought that man, why can’t you believe Him to bring you another perfect match! What the devil does is blind you with that man that walked away so you don’t see what God actually has for you.
Be encouraged and know that by that man walking away, he is freeing you up for the man who will choose to walk together with you FOR LIFE.
