Last year may not have been your year as you had hoped for. Maybe you’ve seen friends paired off and get married, been on countless dates or no dates, perhaps a few breakups or even broken engagement.
But the Lord God said “Forget that, it’s nothing compared to what I am going to do in your life in this new year”
He says it is going to be something new, not a rebuild of what has gone wrong or patch things up. It is a new thing, something you have never had or even seen before.
No matter how deserted this wilderness (called ‘singleness’) might seem, remember God will make a way.
No matter how dry this land (where there are supposed to be eligible men and women) might seem, remember God will supply your need.
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)
