Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.

Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?

Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.

But if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.

For this is the will of God, that you should be consecrated (separated and set apart for pure and holy living): that you should abstain and shrink from all sexual vice,

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality, that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honourable,

Never stop praying.

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

We fight with weapons that are different from those the world uses. Our weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments and every proud thing that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Marriage is honourable among all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

You ought instead to say, If the Lord is willing, we shall live and we shall do this or that [thing].

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:

All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus

Where there is no counsel, purposes are frustrated, but with many counsellors they are accomplished.

A man’s heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.

Cease listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures, Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, from His mouth come knowledge and understanding,

I applied my heart to what I observed, and learned a lesson from what I saw

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, For in You do I trust, Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God

But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
